WITH its usual route to Dunnottar Castle inaccessible while the A957 road closure is in place, the land train is instead diverting its efforts to short trips around town – at a very tempting reduced price.
On Saturdays and Sundays, the Stoney Express will depart the Market Square at 12.30pm, 1pm, 1.30pm, 2pm, 2.30pm, 3pm, 3.30pm, 4pm, and 4.30pm. Note, on Farmers’ market days, the first departure is 1.30pm.
The temporary route will take passengers from the Market Square to the Queen Elizabeth Caravan Park/outdoor pool to the Harbour and back to the Market Square.
Tickets for this toot about town will cost £2.50 for adults and £1.50 for children aged 2 – 12 years old.
Do keep an eye on Facebook for updates. And remember, the Land Train is available for private hire on any weekday, please contact email@example.com for further details.
