Chat for Cash

IF your group has a spokesperson with the gift of the gab then they could earn a useful pot of cash towards a project.

KDP Community Cash is Participatory Budgeting on a small scale… an exercise in real time democracy as an evening audience decides which project will take home a £300 micro grant.

Stonehaven groups, along with others from across Kincardine and Mearns, are invited to give a five minute talk about their goals: what they are trying to achieve and why they need the grant to further their idea or project.

The micro grant will be awarded to the group voted for by the guests of the evening, which will be made up of the groups participating and members of the local community.

The event will be held at Kinneff Village Hall on Tuesday 17th September from 7pm to 9pm.

So, if you have a community group, charity or social enterprise that could benefit from an injection of cash and would like to take part in this event, please contact the Kincardineshire Development Partnership at officesupport@kdp.scot or call 01569 763 246.
