TOMORROW’S meeting of Stonehaven and District Community Council will see various reports from members and an opportunity for public discussion of the twinning campaign.

Emma Storey of Aberdeenshire Council will detail the Park Smart Campaign, which is aimed at parents parking at school entrances.

A recent planning application for a new footbridge at Dunnottar Park, Greener Kincardine, and a recent Mental Health consultation will feature, as will a response from the dog warden to a letter from SDCC calling for action.

And while comments from members of the public are welcome at all meetings of SDCC, at this week’s meeting, the floor will be thrown open to anyone wishing to speak about the recent twinning of Stonehaven with Athens, Alabama.

The meeting takes place on Tuesday August 13 at 7pm in the Cowie Lounge of the Invercarron Resource Centre.
